Asin to play female lead opposite Shahrukh Khan

After working with some of the big names in the industry, Bollywood actress Asin will soon be seen sharing the screen space with the super star Shahrukh Khan. The ‘Ghajini’ actress is likely  to play a role opposite King Khan for the upcoming movie based on Chetan Bhagat’s 2 states.

Asin has already worked with Salman in London Dreams and also with Aamir Khan in ‘Ghajini’. Now the actress is all set to star opposite the ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’ star. The actress has already met the producer for discussing the terms.

The producer as well as the director, feels that the actress will be the best for the role of Ananya, a south Indian girl. The movie will be directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and Asin is excited to work with such an experienced team.

The story of two states is about a couple who belong to different states and fall in love with each other. Shahrukh will be playing the role of a Punjabi boy, who falls for a south Indian girl. But things were not so easy, when it came to convincing their parents. There are possibilities that Asin may play the role of the south Indian girl in the movie opposite Shahrukh Khan.
