Three celebs Aishwarya, Kajol and Sachin came together for “Support My School” campaign

Three of the top celebs of the world were seen together at a social campaign – “Support My School” for education of school children.

Reports on Feb. 6, 2013 stated that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Kajol and Sachin Tendulkar came to support a social campaign called ‘Telethon’, which is a fundraising event that lasted for 12 hours to raise funds to support education of children. Along with these world class celebrities, the event saw the presence of many other celebrities who came to support the event and to raise funds for the same.

According to reports, the telethon was actually a part of six-month Coca-Cola NDTV “Support My School” campaign and it reportedly raised Rs. 13.6 crore, which will go towards the improvement of 272 schools across India.

Other celebrities who lent their support towards the campaign included Ayushmann Khurana and Ajay Devgan, amongst others.  The campaign which initially launched in January 2011 was designed to promote healthy active schools across the country.
