Kareena denies that she was replaced in ‘Ram Leela’

Kareena Kapoor has been replaced by Priyanka Chopra to play the lead role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Ram Leela”.

Accoirding to rumors, she was dropped due to her impending wedding. Sanjay has reportedly laid down a condition to Kareena, telling her that she should defer her October 2012 wedding by a year, if she wanted to star in the film opposite Ranveer Singh. As per sources, Sanjay did not want his heroine to be married until the film released.

But Kareena denies the story saying that it is because of the date and money issue that she has walked out of “Ram Leela”.

The actress said that she had allotted 100 days for the shooting in August as per contract . But Sanjay Leela Bhansali wanted more days to shoot which wasn’t possible as she has signed three new big films for next year.

She further clarifies that she is extremely ambitious and very career-oriented and her personal life has never come in the way of her career. She says that her wedding hasn’t been the reason for her opting out of the project.

Meanwhile Priyanka Chopra is set to replace Kareena Kapoor in ” Ram Leela”.
