‘Big Bang Theory’ wins big at Critics Choice TV Awards
Yahoo! news reported on June 16, 2013 that CBS sitcom “The Big Bang Theory” won big in comedy category at the Critics choice TV awards on Monday.
The show won best comedy award and with stars Kaley Cuoco and Simon Helberg winning best comedy supporting actor awards.
Best Actor in a Comedy Series was taken by Louis C.K. for his show “Louis” and Best Actress in a Comedy Series was won by Julia Louis-Dreyfus for HBO’s “Veep”.
The Best Drama award was shared between “Game of Thrones: and “Breaking Bad”. Bryan Cranston of “Breaking Bad” won Best Actor in a Drama Series award for the second time in a row while Tatiana Maslany won Best Actress in Drama category for BBC America’s “Orphan Black”
AMC series “Breaking Bad” and HBO’s “Game of Thrones” won top prizes for drama. HBO’s “Behind the Candelabra” won best mini-series or movie, and Michael Douglas, who starred in the movie won the best actor in a mini-series or movie award.
