Bollywood mega star Amitabh Bachchan, who recently underwent two abdominal surgeries, has now developed new health issues. Due to the new health issues, the actor’s stay in the hospital might be extended.

Bachchan is currently being treated at the Seven Hills Hospital. The actor posted on his blog on February 15, 2012, “I seek forgiveness…I will not be detailing any more…some fresh medical issues have come up, and I need to concentrate on the treatment now,”.

The 69 year old got operated on February 11, 2012 and was due to be discharged on Monday. But then the actor complained of acute pain and the doctors then decided to keep him under observation till Friday or Saturday.

As the actor did not reveal further details, it is indicated that the consition of the actor could be serious. Thankfully the health of the actor has not deterred him from tweeting and blogging so that he keeps in touch with his extended family. Amitabh is being looked after by wife Jaya and daughter Shweta Nanda.

As scheduled earlier, the upper star Amitabh Bachchan today on February 11, 2012 successfully underwent an abdominal surgery at a hospital in Mumbai . Son Abhishek Tweeted that the surgery went on well and is admitted at the Seven Hills Hospital.

Abhishek wrote, “Thank you all for your wishes and prayers. The surgery went off well and dad is now in the room resting,”. Earleir the doctors had updated about the condition of the 69 year old actor to the media, which left thousands of fans worried about his health.

One of the doctors revealed that the actor had come to the hospital with a pain in his abdomen and after examinations and some tests it was found that the condition needed surgical interventions. Event the actor agreed that the surgery would relieve the actor of the ailment.

The doctors confirmed that the mega star was stable but revealed no further details on his condition. The actor in the recent days has been updating his fans about his health through his blog.
