Bollywood actor Salman Khan has now become the star of the Hindi remakes of the south Indian films after the success of ‘Ready’ and ‘Bodyguard’. The actor has now once again been approached for the remake of the Telugu block buster movie ‘Arya 2’.

The original movie had the south Indian heart throb Allu Arjun and Kajal Agarwal in the lead role. The rights of the movie have been acquired by film maker Ronnie Screwvala and are now planning to get Salman for the main role.

If everything goes as per plans then Salman will be seen playing the role of the lover boy in the movie played by Arjun in the original. The shooting of the movie is expected to start in the year 2012.

However, the makers have not yet decided the female lead of the movie. Director Sukumar, who had directed the original movie, has been signed for the direction of the Hindi version of the movie. Earlier, certain reports said that Arjun would be cast for the Hindi version of the movie as he would be able to do justice to the role he did for the original.

South super star Allu Arjun will soon be making his Bollywood debut with the Hindi version of the block buster movie ‘Arya 2’. The movie would be produced by UTV Motion Pictures and one of the major producers from the Telugu film industry.

Arjun has been roped in to play the lead role in the movie, while some reports have said that a Bollywood actress has already been cast for the female lead. But it is still not clear if who would be playing the female lead in the movie.

The story of ‘Arya 2’ is about a guy who has immense loyalty for his only best friend, but then he is stuck between his friend and the love of his life, who is attracted towards his best friend. The movie was a major block buster among the south audience.

The Telugu version was dubbed in Hindi, but it did not receive much response and attention. The earlier movie had Kajal Agarwal, Navdeep and Arjun in the lead roles.
