In some good news for all those who were eagerly waiting for the ninth season of the popular reality show MTV Roadies, the show has begun. Roadies season nine premiered on January 7, 2012 with auditions in Delhi.

The show is all about guts, adventure, thrill, fun and glory. This time the makers are going to take the contestants to an adventurous journey through the undiscovered terrains of America.

The winners of the earlier season Anchal Khurana and the finalists Mohit and Suchit were present to kick off the new season of the show. Like every year, the auditions are attended by thousands of people out of which only a few are chosen for the personal interview session which is known to be the scariest part of the auditions.

The contestants have to first go through a group discussion round out of which the selected ones are called for the personal interview. This year the makers will be exploring the locales of America and challenge the contestants with some tasks which are now going to be more deadly than ever. The scary duo Ragu and Rajiv will be auditioning the contestants along with Rannvijay Singh.
