After the happy news of Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai’s pregnancy, questions have been raised about the upcoming projects that the actress is supposed to fulfill with the film makers. Ash, who was supposed to star opposite husband Abhishek Bachchan will reportedly be  replaced by Preity Zinta.

Ash and Abhishek were supposed to star together in the upcoming movie of Raj Kumar Santoshi’s romantic comedy movie ‘Ladies and Gentlemen’. Santoshi, while talking about the movie, had said that the fact that Abhi and Ash are going to become parents, is more important than the movie.

The film maker even added that the role that was supposed to be played by Aishwarya in the movie, and no longer suits her now. In the movie, Abhishek plays the role of a Casanova and Preity will be playing the role of a girl who ultimately becomes the love interest of Abhishek.

Sources from the production team have informed that Abhishek and Preity are close friends for a while now. The ‘Jhoom Barabar Jhoom’ actress has been called in to play the role which was supposed to be played by Ash. Earlier, even actresses Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif were considered for the role. Santoshi has already planned for the movie that will suit Aishwarya. The director said that the project is a special one and that he had written it specially for her.

Bollywood actress Preity Zinta, post her break up with businessman Ness Wadia, was on Wednesday seen with a white skinned man at a party. This was the second time she was spotted with the same guy.

When asked Preity, she says, “I am still single and the person you are taking about is a producer, Paul. I was also with Ambika Hinduja at the party.” The actress also added that whenever she will see a guy, she will proudly flaunt him and not hide anything about her relationship.

The actress cleared the air on her status after she was questioned of her relationship with the mystery man and confirmed that she is still single. Preity, since her entry to stardom, has managed to woo many men in showbiz as well as other fields, with her cute dimples.

The dimpled beauty earlier dated Marc Robinson in 2000 and got separated after a year. The actress says that she is still in good terms with Marc. In 2005, she started dating Ness and the relationship lasted till 2009. In between, the actress was also alleged by Suchitra Krishnamurthy, that she was having an affair with her husband Shekhar Kapoor. The actress on the allegations replied that she had met the director just five times in ten years and publicly demanded to step forward to clear the misunderstandings.

Bollywood actress Preity Zinta will soon be making her debut on television as a host for a show named ‘Guinness World Records Ab India Todega’. The show is an Indian version of an international show which is produced by Miditech.

Reports state that the actress will be seen cheering and guiding the Indian contestants on the show, who will be attempting to break international records. Apart from the contestants, Preity will also be seen encouraging the audience to attempt to break the records.

The actress had even tried to break an international record herself, but failed. But the actress very sportingly said that if she couldn’t do it, then some one else in India can definitely do it.

Fashion designer Surily Goel will be looking after Preity’s look for the show. “I am excited to style Preity for her television debut. A show like Guinness World Records will be a great platform to experiment with various looks,” Goel said. After Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan, the actress has now taken the plunge in to the world of television.

The premiere of Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘The Last Lear’ was today called off after suspected MNS activists attacked a suburban multiplex, which was to host the event.

“The premiere had been called off due to security reasons. The decision was taken following the attack on multiplex by a small group of miscreants this morning,” Shubho Shekhar Bhattarcharjee, CEO of Planman Motion Pictures, producers of the movie, said.
